Home & Habitat

Dunton Hills Garden Village

Home & Habitat included a series of creative educational workshops to year 5 and 6 students in 4 schools in Brentwood and the surrounding areas. The workshops had the children co-designing fantastical wildlife habitats for local wildlife species. The designs for the habitats were inspired by the students ideas of home & belonging.

Working with the support of artist Dan Howey, Dan and Sam then developed a prototype habitat, inspired by the students ideas that could be given back to the schools. The collection of designs by the students were re-produced in CAD and 3D prints and displayed in an exhibition, as well as being collated into a design pack which has been handed over to Brentwood Council for potential use in the development in the future.
