Transformations: Public Art Module

Commissioned to produce a Public Art module for a Coventry based creative training programme that culminated in a temporary installation outcome at Godiva Festival.

Sam developed an week programme in collaboration with Imagineer’s Transformations team and Coventry artist, Paul O’Donnell who facilitated several of the workshops. Sam and the team supported the participants to gain understanding about the nuances of creating work for public spaces, as well as developing a creative outcome with them. The brief, was to create multi- purpose signage that could be used to signpost and inspire across a range of events and festivals.

10 signs with the participants favourite song lyrics were co-designed as a group and produced by a fabricator.
These finished pieces were premiered at Godival Festival in July 2024 and now continue their lifespan across a range of local events and festivals.
